Plan and track a project on one board.

Plan work on a Kanban board, a list, a Gantt timeline, a calendar or a dashboard. Assign owners, set dates, block tasks on each other and follow progress. It runs in your browser, saves as you type and never asks you to sign up.

  • Free, no sign-up
  • Five views of the same work
  • Saved in your browser

How to run a project on the board

  1. Start from a template or a blank board

Pick website launch, software sprint, marketing campaign or product roadmap, or import a CSV or a Trello export. Keep as many boards as you like.

  2. Add cards and fill in the details

Give each card owners, a priority, dates, an estimate, labels, subtasks, a description and a list of cards it waits for. Comments and activity are kept on the card.

  3. Move work along and read the plan

Drag cards between columns, group them into swimlanes, switch to the timeline, calendar or dashboard, and share a read-only link or export the board when you are done.

Most small projects do not need a heavy tool. They need one place that shows what is waiting, what is being worked on and what is done, with a date and an owner on every task. This board does that without an account: it opens straight to a working template, keeps everything in your browser and lets you take the plan with you as a file or a link.

What it does

  • Kanban board with draggable cards and columns, swimlanes by assignee or priority, and work-in-progress limits that turn red when you go over.
  • A team list for each board and cards with several assignees, priority, labels, cover colour, estimate in hours, start and due dates, subtasks with progress, comments and an activity log.
  • Dependencies: mark a card as blocked by another, see it flagged on the board, and watch the arrows on the timeline.
  • Gantt timeline with day, week and month zoom. Drag a bar to move it and drag its ends to change the dates.
  • Month calendar where you drag a card to another day to reschedule it, and a dashboard with status, priority, workload and weekly completion charts.
  • Several boards, templates, a command palette on Ctrl K, undo and redo, and a light and dark theme.
  • Import a CSV or a Trello export. Export to CSV, a board file, plain text or PDF, or copy a read-only share link.

Project Management Board: questions and answers

Is the project management tool free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no card, no limit on boards or cards and no watermark.

Where is my data saved?

In this browser, using local storage. Nothing is sent to a server. Clearing site data or using another browser or device starts you with an empty tool, so export your boards as a file now and then as a backup.

How do I add people and assign cards?

Click the Team button at the top right and type a name, or several names separated by commas. Then open a card, or use the quick menu on a card, and click a name to assign it. You can also type a new name straight into a card. There are no accounts: names only live on the board, and each person gets a colour for their avatar.

Can my team use the same board?

There is no live sharing or accounts. Copy a read-only link to show a teammate the current state, or export the board as a file and send it so they can open and edit their own copy. For work that needs live edits by several people, a hosted tool is a better fit.

How do dependencies and the timeline work?

Open a card and pick the cards it is blocked by. Blocked cards show a lock on the board and an arrow on the timeline. On the Gantt view you can drag a bar to move it, or drag either end to change the start or the due date.

Can I import from Trello or a spreadsheet?

Yes. Open the Export menu and choose Open a file. It reads a Trello board export (JSON), a CSV with a title column and optional status, priority, assignee, labels and date columns, and boards saved from this tool.

Can I use it on a phone?

Yes. The boards list becomes a slide-over menu and the views scroll sideways. Press and hold a card for a moment, then drag it to another column. You can also open the card and change its status from the menu.

How is this different from Trello, Asana or Jira?

It is smaller on purpose: no accounts, no integrations and no live collaboration, in return for being instant, private and free. It suits one person or a small team planning a website, a sprint or a campaign.
