Batch-convert images to WebP, JPEG, PNG or AVIF, set a maximum width or a scale, choose the quality, and download everything as a zip. It all happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

What it does

  • Input: JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and BMP, up to 50 files at once. You can also paste with Ctrl+V.
  • Output: WebP, JPEG, PNG or AVIF, with a quality control that trades file size for detail.
  • Resize by maximum width or by scale. Images are never upscaled and keep their aspect ratio.
  • Output drops EXIF data such as GPS location.

Files stay on your device. The processing runs in your browser, and no image is sent to a server.

Image resizer: questions and answers

Are my images uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser and the files never leave your device.

Which formats can it convert to?

WebP, JPEG, PNG and AVIF. AVIF output needs a browser that can create it.

How many images can I convert at once?

Up to 50. You get them back as one zip.

Can I reduce an image to a size in KB for an online form?

Yes. Under “Keep each file under”, pick 50 KB, 100 KB, 200 KB, 500 KB or 1 MB. The tool finds the best quality that fits, and only makes the picture smaller if even the lowest quality is too heavy. For an exam form that also asks for exact pixels, use the exam photo resizer.

Does it remove location data from photos?

Yes. The output drops EXIF data such as GPS location.

Which format should I use for a website?

WebP is a good default. It usually gives a smaller file than JPEG at similar quality. AVIF can be smaller still.
